The Life and Times of Gerald Ladmirault

Foreword

It is with no lack of doubt and hesitation that I make this material public. My name is Dr. Randolph Carter. I was contacted by a colleague of mine who claimed to have returned from the future.

There was no doubt that the man before me appeared to be older, much older, than I remembered but that, obviously, was no proof.

In our conversations, however, he provided such details of the near future over the next several days that I have come to believe that his story is genuine and have sought to comply with his wishes.

My colleague told me a harrowing tale of deceit and treachery, of slaughter and mass-murder, of his rise to power and his subsequent fall. He told me of the loss of his two sons and the death of his wives and other children. His tears seemed genuine enough. He had escaped punishment for his crimes by fleeing into the past but even now, his enemies had likewise traveled back and were in close pursuit. It was not intention, he said, to seek to return to power, but to live a quiet life with whatever time he had left to him in silence and obscurity. He claimed he had no choice but to lay low as his enemies had sent an implacable robotic assassin through the time portal after him.

He made available to me certain documents--certain histories of the future he came from. He made these available to me and to other select individuals around the globe in the hopes that the events of his timeline should never come to pass. And so I make a portion of these documents available to you.

The following is an article on the life and political career of the despot and notorious dictator Gerald Ladmirault. It is largely confirmed by the man himself as being accurate and it is my hope that by publishing it, no one alive will permit the events detailed within to happen. Good luck to us all.

Sincerely,

Randolph Carter, Ph.D.

Gerald Ladmirault

Born 1972 - Disappeared 2042

Educator

"If you cannot be the master of your language, you must be its slave. If you cannot examine your thoughts, you have no choice but to think them, however silly they may be." Richard Mitchell

Upon completion of his Ph.D., Gerald Ladmirault began work as an instructor at Yale University, preaching the litany of what he called "The New Education," a philosophy based on emphasis on literary quality in all subject matters and a preference for less structured "work at your own pace" classes over traditional lecturing. However, for a junior professor, Ladmirault (seen here speaking before one of his classes) was too vocal, too passionate and too opposed to the status quo. He was expelled from Yale for advocating his personal education theories and those of the author Richard Mitchell in preference of established Yale policies.

Author

It was as a writer that Gerald Ladmirault first entered into public view, crafting such unique and esoteric novels as: The Eleventh Bazaar Of The Favorite Elation, Satanic River and Cannibal Of The Broadband. Celebrated by an academy he despised, Ladmirault failed to produce a bestseller until his ghost-written ground-breaking biography, Aguilera. Furious at his own success, he retreated into isolation and alcoholism, producing the brilliant avant-garde autobiographical novel I'm My Own Bitch which was an unmitigated success, both publicly and with the academy, winning several awards and remaining on the bestseller lists for several months. He then followed this seminal novel with a trilogy of nonfiction philosophical blockbusters beginning with the definitive pluralist progressive work Time to Get Comatose, Honkeys! and continuing on to The Care And Feeding Of Your Grandmother's Bully and ending with his tour de force The New Despair: Living With Impotent Cripples.

Influences

Ladmirault's intellectual and creative influences were many and diverse, including such figures as Jack Williamson, Stephen King, Prince/The Artist Formerly Known as Prince, Robert Westall, J. L. Butler, Anton Levay, and of course, Richard Mitchell. Mitchell was the king of Ladmirault's intellectual legacy, as the man himself acknowledged and is generally known. Less well-known is the relationship between the works of Gerald Ladmirault and J. L. Butler. Butler himself, an author of amazing breadth and literary quality, became the subject of Ladmirault's envious hatred upon winning the Nobel Prize for Literature for his magical realist novel Our Golden Soul At Twilight the very same year that Ladmirault anonymously produced Aguilera. From that point on, it seemed as though Ladmirault could only define himself in opposition to Butler's works. Butler was an avid socialist and communitarian; increasingly as time went on, Ladmirault's tendencies towards radical individualism and pluralist progressivism became more and more pronounced, culminating in The New Despair which was as much a manifesto for the future as Ladmirault saw it as an indictment of the past. Historians attribute Ladmirault's general move from fiction to non-fiction to also be a negative reaction to Butler's work. While Butler was of course a dedicated fiction writer, Ladmirault seemed determined to define himself with his non-fiction philosophical works.

Polygamist

An avid supporter of polygamy, Ladmirault finally married his three live-in female lovers after the legalization of polygamy in the United States. Little is known of Ladmirault's private life with his wives, other than he was fond of establishing bizarre rules for their behavior in public. His wives were not allowed to shave their armpits, were required to be heavily adorned with tattoos (but only in green ink) and were often required to appear in public wearing horns as the following photos attest.

Family Man

Gerald Ladmirault had some seven children from his three wives and chose to devote himself largely to his two sons, seen here, Vladimir Putin Ladmirault and Jessie Ventura Ladmirault. It was said that he considered his sons to be his legacy to the world. They were to be his right-hand men in the new world order he was trying to build and much like Oday and Qusay Hussein, were eventually killed for it.

Satanist

"I was dreamin' when I wrote this
So sue me if I go too fast
But life is just a party
And parties weren't meant to last

War is all around us
My mind says prepare to fight
So if I gotta die
I'm gonna listen to my body tonight

They say two thousand zero, zero, party over,
Oops, out of time!
So tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999!" -- Prince, 1999

"The highest of all holidays in the Satanic religion is the date of one's own birth. Every man is a god if he chooses to recognize himself as one. So, the Satanist celebrates his own birthday as the most important holiday of the year. Despite the fact that some of us may not have been wanted, or at least were not particularly planned, we're glad, even if no one else is, that we're here! You should give yourself a pat on the back, buy yourself whatever you want, treat yourself like the king (or god) that you are, and generally celebrate your birthday with as much pomp and ceremony as possible." -- Anton Levay

It has been said of Ladmirault that if he had not learned of modern Satanism that he would have had to invent it himself. Between the existential despair and ennui of being a towering intellectual figure in a world that could not possibly understand him and his beliefs in the irrepressible need of the individual to be free, Satanism does seem to loom over Ladmirault as his destiny even from his earliest days.

"The Modern Satanist understands that the only power anyone has over them is the power that we give them. In the end we are in sole control of our happiness and fulfillment. Above all else we understand that this is our one time on earth, put here for only one purpose; ME. Go out and do that which you would most like to do. Picture in your head your ideal life and then go out and live it. Dress how you wish to dress. Act how you wish to act. Be that which you want to be. Live strong. Love fiercely. Laugh full. Carpe Noctem and ‘Suck the marrow from the bones of life’. The Devil belongs to us now!" -- Modern Church of Satan Website

Ladmirault accepted Satan into his life while attending a Satanic revival in Harlem. Attending only as a favor to his colleagues, he found a philosophy that he could not deny was intimately connected with his world-view and in a rare throwing of caution to the wind, went on stage and asked Satan to be his personal savior.

Magus

Surprisingly, Ladmirault's entry into Satanism was foreshadowed years ago by his devotion to Richard Mitchell. Note the following quotes of Mitchell:

"Words never fail. We hear them, we read them; they enter into the mind and become part of us for as long as we shall live. Who speaks reason to his fellow men bestows it upon them. Who mouths inanity disorders thought for all who listen."

"One of the most important uses of language in all cultures is the performance of magic. Since language deals easily with invisible worlds, it's natural that it provide whatever access we think we have to the world of the spirits."

"Two things, then, are necessary for intelligent discourse: an array of names, and a conventional system for telling. The power of a language is related, therefore, to the size and subtlety of its lexicon, its bank of names, and the flexibility and accuracy of its telling system, its grammar."

"The next step is not taken until you learn to see a world in which worms are eaten and decisions made and all responsible agency has disappeared."

Some authors have surmised that, reading Mitchell, it is impossible to say if Mitchell was speaking solely of language or if in fact, reading between the lines, he was espousing a theory of magic. Regardless, it is now self-evident that Mitchell's teachings helped shape Ladmirault's views and theories of magic to the point where he quickly rose up the satanic ranks to that of Magus. Ladmirault's career culminated in his achieving the final rank of Grand Magus and Head of the Church of Satan. Having supplanted Anton Levay, Ladmirault then advocated a theory of "fractured souls"--that some individuals were incomplete because their souls were scattered among several co-existent living bodies. He put forward the theory that he himself and Anton Levay were such a pairing and that only after Levay's death in 1999 had his soul "become whole."

Ladmirault prepares a priestess to serve as his altar for the first black mass at his mansion:

Ladmirault combined his knowledge of Mitchellian theories and Satanic magic with the teachings of Dr. Glenn Morris (1944-2006), founder of the art of Hoshinjutsu. That these theories should all be compatible is evident from this quote from www.hoshin.com: "Our vision is to attract and create positive thinkers motivated to reach beyond their programming. Everyone has this potential. The Hoshin system can be the vehicle for change in those individuals driven to rise up against a challenge. The life of a warrior is not necessarily synonymous with making war, however, it absolutely means the warrior is the crucible for change and it is the warrior's challenge to rise above it.

Hoshinjutsu is the thinking person's art. Live a powerful life. Live Hoshinjutsu."

Here is Ladmirault shown demonstrating his abilities of hypnosis and mind control on a group of sixteen year old girls:

Ladmirault often spoke of the power of education in thought control, especially its efficacy with the young, quoting his mentor Mitchell: "Thought control, like birth control, is best undertaken as long as possible before the fact. Many grown-ups will obstinately persist, if only now and then, in composing small strings of sentences in their heads and achieving at least a momentary logic. This probably cannot be prevented, but we have learned how to minimize its consequences by arranging that such grown-ups will be unable to pursue that logic very far."

Politician

It is of course as a politician that Gerald Ladmirault will be most remembered.

Beginning as a public speaker and fiery advocate of pluralist-progressivism in the early 21st century, Ladmirault made powerful friends and connections that would later assist in catapulting him into public office. Ladmirault is seen here with ex-president Barack Obama shortly before the ex-president's death.

It was the Biofuel Scandal of 2024 and the subsequent Food Riots that provided Ladmirault a bridge to political power.

Gerald Ladmirault served as the President of the United States from 2028 until 2036 and as President of the Federal Republic of North America from 2036 to 2040. He also led the American Pluralist-Progressive Party from its foundation in 2025.

He is known for directing the annexations of Canada and Mexico and defeating the Separatist States following the breakup of the United States in 2034. Following the Second American Civil War, Ladmirault, victorious, reconstituted all of North America into the Federal Republic of North America.

Here is Ladmirault giving the order to pump nerve gas into the separatist refugee camps:

He resigned the North American presidency amid demonstrations and insurgent attacks, following the disputed presidential election of September 24, 2040. It was during this year that his wives and children were killed in a suicide bombing attempt meant for him.

Ladmirault was arrested by Federal authorities early on Sunday, April 1, 2041, on suspicion of corruption, abuse of power, and embezzlement. The initial investigation into Ladmirault faltered for lack of hard evidence prompting then Prime Minister Scott Rogers to send him to The Hague to stand trial for war crimes instead.

Here is a photo of Ladmirault delivering his threat to bombard the orbital colonies with thermonuclear missiles if they carried out their threat of secession:

The Hague war crimes tribunal charged Ladmirault with crimes against humanity, violating the laws or customs of war, grave breaches of the Geneva Conventions and genocide for his role during the wars in Canada, Mexico and America.

Ladmirault conducted his own defense, but the trial ended without a verdict because he disappeared during the proceedings. Having apparently suffered from a heart attack, Ladmirault vanished after the court approved his request to seek specialized medical treatment at a cardiology clinic in New York.

Conspiracy theories abound regarding the disappearance of Gerald Ladmirault but historians generally assume he was whisked away by his political supporters. Many theorists believe he had assistance from the some of the highest offices in the new government from men and women who didn't want their own crimes to come to light if the trial continued.

Gerald Ladmirault's whereabouts, assuming he is still alive, are currently unknown.
